Limited Editions, Collaborations & Vintage
Spectacle has distinguished itself as a lifestyle brand which acts as platform for new emerging designers and collaborations. Many limited edition pieces are designed to be displayed at the most fashion forward retailers and this is where Spectacle is recognized. Through our strong international reputation we often gain access to limited edition pieces that never reach other retailers in Toronto - let alone Canada. Unique colourways, brand collaborations, and limited edition models reach our stock first. If you are someone of discerning taste, these products are for you. Please check online or drop by any of our locations to view the current collection of limited edition pieces and stay tuned to our social media as we update with information regarding these pieces regularly.
Special Edition Collaborations
Spectacle has been recognized as a fashion leader in the eyewear industry. In reward of this recognition Spectacle is occasionally given opportunity to produce limited edition collaborations with exclusive brands. In 2009, Spectacle was proud to launch the first ever Canadian design collaboration with Oliver Peoples: "The Connolly." We then announced the launch of the first Canadian collaboration with ic! berlin and recently we completed a collaboration with New York's own historic brand: Moscot. Due to the success of these launches we will be collaborating on other limited edition frames and styles. These collector items sell fast so shop online or drop by any of our locations to view our limited stock. Follow us on our social media platforms for up-to-the-minute information regarding the release of these collaborations.
From time to time we receive a limited selection of vintage dead stock frames. These influential museum eyewear and sunwear pieces are unworn and are brand new. We regularly showcase pieces spanning the early thirties through Audrey Hepburn, Michael Caine, Run DMC, and rare collector items. The wide selection of frames will allow you to reminisce and channel your inner Norma Jean or Malcolm X while viewing how these icons influenced the next generation of eyewear designers. Come see what selection we currently have and by doing so, take a look back in time!
